Cliff Roye's journey from a dedicated worker to a successful entrepreneur is one marked by determination, resilience, and a burning desire to seize opportunities. After toiling through countless work orders, it struck Cliff one early morning that he possessed all the necessary tools and skills to forge his own path in the HVAC industry. Despite pouring his sweat and expertise into his work, he realized he was barely reaping the rewards while his boss enjoyed the lion's share of benefits.

Excited by this realization, Cliff approached his boss, seeking guidance and mentorship in starting his own HVAC company. However, his boss's reaction was less than supportive, dismissing Cliff's ambition with a skeptical glare and a discouraging "you CAN'T do it." But instead of letting this negativity deter him, Cliff left that day even more determined to pursue his dream of entrepreneurship. That moment of dismissal fueled his resolve, becoming the driving force behind his journey.

 

Today, Mr. Cliff Roye stands tall as the independent owner and founder of Cool Tech Air Conditioning and Refrigeration LLC, a thriving business based in Brooklyn, servicing the Tri-State area. Hailing from Jamaica, Cliff's journey to success began in 1995 when he obtained an A.O.S. degree in HVAC from the Technical Career Institute in New York. Despite facing numerous challenges, Cliff never lost sight of his goal, furthering his education and obtaining his HVAC operator's license in 1998.

Since its inception in 2001, Cool Tech has grown from strength to strength, offering a wide range of services to both commercial and residential clients. Cool Tech is not just a business; it's a certified minority-owned enterprise, dedicated to serving its community with excellence. Beyond his business pursuits, Cliff is deeply involved in sports and community engagement. As the Vice President of Westbury Cricket Club, President of Cool Tech, and Marketing Director of the New York Metropolitan Cricket League, Cliff continues to make a significant impact both on and off the field.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Cliff was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (CACCI) in 2009. His success story serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs, demonstrating that with determination, hard work, and the right support, anything is possible. Cliff's journey is a testament to the power of believing in oneself, seizing opportunities, and turning dreams into reality.
